Mohammed Alfarra: Youth and cooperation shape the future of AI in healthcare
At the Youth and Digital Future Forum—a segment of the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC)—Mohammed Alfarra, a urologist and founder of Kaun AI, shared his vision of connecting healthcare professionals, doctors, and data scientists to develop artificial intelligence solutions for healthcare. Alfarra emphasized how young people constitute the driving force of innovation and must believe in themselves: "Young people are the backbone of every organization".
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
