The summit aims to inject new momentum into digital development across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. As one of the key events during the summit, a briefing session on the Practice Cases for Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace (Practice Cases) and the World Internet Conference Awards for Pioneering Science and Technology (WIC Awards) will be held in Hong Kong on April 14, offering participants a valuable opportunity to engage with cutting-edge global digital innovation.
The briefing will introduce the 2025 Practice Cases and WIC Awards, detailing the award benefits and selection criteria. The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
