The World Internet Conference (WIC) made significant progress in 2024, its third year as an international organization.

The WIC hosted the Computing Power Network Forum in Barcelona, Spain, and the Digital Silk Road Development Forum in Xi’an, Northwest China’s Shaanxi province, showcasing its commitment to serving as a platform for international exchanges and cooperation in the internet field. A theoretical seminar was also held to talk about advancing the building of a community with a shared future in cyberspace to a new stage, while the 2024 WIC Wuzhen Summit ushered in a new decade for building a digital future.

Looking ahead, the WIC will continue to act as a platform for extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, build consensus on internet governance, deepen global cooperation, and jointly build a community with a shared future in cyberspace, ensuring that the internet delivers more benefits to people worldwide.
