The sixth meeting of the first Council of the World Internet Conference (WIC) adopted the List of New WIC Members, seeing more members join the WIC organization.

CCAT LAT - High Technology Training Center for Latin America and the Caribbean
The CCAT LAT - High Technology Training Center for Latin America and the Caribbean, a non-profit organization established in Uruguay in 1983, has been dedicated to enhancing the competitiveness of talent in Latin America and the Caribbean and promoting talent training in the fields of the internet and telecommunications. It is headquartered in Uruguay, with offices in Argentina, Mexico, and El Salvador. It offers courses in such areas as the Internet of Things, internet governance, electronic communications, cybersecurity, and intellectual property, with teachers and students coming from countries including Kenya, Zimbabwe, Italy, Canada, Bangladesh, and India, as well as Latin American countries.
Korea-China Science and ICT Exchange Association
The Korea-China Science and ICT Exchange Association is a non-profit organization established in the Republic of Korea (ROK) in 2021. The association aims to build a platform for China-ROK exchange and cooperation, and enhance exchanges and cooperation between China and ROK in the fields of science and ICT, information and communication technology. It actively seeks to address the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution by identifying industries where the two countries can complement each other.
Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing (HKAIM)
Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing was established in Hong Kong, China, in 2007. It aims to establish a platform for communication and learning for the marketing and advertising industries, where they can engage in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge issues, facilitate the sharing and exchange of experiences in the industry, and stimulate innovation and cooperation. It is committed to promoting the development and growth of the industry, and has hosted many funding schemes to cultivate talents for the industry. Such events as Media Transformation Award and AIM Seminar organized by the association, centered on topics including media, digital transformation, AI application, e-commerce and cross-border payment, have promoted exchanges in the industry.
Macao Association for Internet Research (MAIR)
Macao Association for Internet Research, established in Macao, China, in 2010, is composed of professionals from internet-related academia and industry. Its purpose is to conduct academic research on the use and influence of the internet and related information dissemination technologies and promote the development of the internet in Macao. It publishes research results related to the development of the internet, big data and the latest information technology every year, and holds many science popularization activities. Through these efforts, it strives to enhance public access to academic resources and promote the development of the internet in Macao.
Macau Association of Internet Culture
Macau Association of Internet Culture, established in Macao, China, in 2015, is a non-profit organization aimed at promoting internet use and education to facilitate internet development. The association, focusing on social progress, regularly organizes activities such as exchange programs and training sessions for young people and students, hoping to broaden their horizons.
Network Innovation and Development Alliance
The Network Innovation and Development Alliance (NIDA) is an international industry-specific social organization formed voluntarily by industry organizations, universities, research institutes, companies, and enterprises worldwide, dedicated to promoting fixed network technology innovation and industrial upgrading. NIDA is committed to defining the intergenerational evolution of the global internet infrastructure and network building standards, and driving the upgrading of the data communication industry. NIDA aims to promote the innovative development of the global internet infrastructure industry and provide strong support for building a more secure, efficient, and intelligent internet infrastructure.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
