Outstanding Cases of Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace

On November 19, 2024, the World Internet Conference (WIC) will host the Release & Presentation of Outstanding Cases of Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace at the Wuzhen Summit! Since its launch in 2021, this program has grown into a key event for promoting international cooperation in cyberspace.

This year’s event will highlight 13 exceptional cases that demonstrate impactful work in internet infrastructure, digital economy innovation, cultural exchange, cybersecurity, and global cyberspace governance. These cases will inspire a vision of an inclusive, connected digital future.

WIC Awards for Pioneering Science and Technology

On November 19, 2024, the World Internet Conference (WIC) will host the prestigious Awards for Pioneering Science and Technology at the Wuzhen Summit! Supported by key national and regional bodies, these awards recognize groundbreaking achievements in internet technology from across the globe.

This year, 270 innovative entries from 24 countries competed in categories like Basic Research, Key Technology, and Engineering R&D. Twenty exceptional projects will be awarded for their contributions, with winners presenting their advancements live and in an interactive exhibition. 

The Light of Internet Expo 2024

On November 19-22, the Light of Internet Expo 2024 takes place at the Wuzhen International Internet Convention & Exhibition Center for  This year’s theme, "Embracing a People-Centered and AI-for-Good Digital Future," aligns with the vision of the World Internet Conference to foster a shared future in cyberspace.

Explore cutting-edge AI, cybersecurity, smart technologies, and digital villages in diverse exhibition zones, with over 600 top global enterprises showcasing innovations both on-site and online. Engage in live experiences, AI and Humanoid Robot zones, and the upgraded “Light of Internet Online Exhibition Hall” for a year-round digital showcase. 

2024 Global Internet Competition of “Straight to Wuzhen” Awards Ceremony

On November 22, 2024, the WIC Wuzhen Summit celebrate the finalists and winners of the Global Internet Competition of “Straight to Wuzhen”. Held annually as part of the World Internet Conference, this competition showcases pioneering projects from across the globe in fields like Intelligent Connected Vehicles, Digital Medicine, Industrial Internet, Smart IoT, and Digital Culture.

This year, 1,048 projects from 27 countries competed in three stages across both domestic and international regions. After rigorous rounds, 72 innovative projects will meet in Wuzhen for the final showdown! Don’t miss the awards ceremony as these groundbreaking projects and AI-powered innovations pave the way for the future of the internet.
