The 2024 Global Youth Leadership Program (GYLP) of the World Internet Conference (WIC) has attracted attention from all over the world since its recruitment was announced. International organizations, leading internet enterprises, and top experts and scholars have all recommended candidates, and we have received applications from outstanding young individuals from nearly 50 countries and regions, including China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Korea, the UAE, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Colombia.

OPPORTUNITIES

Selected candidates will be invited as guests to attend the WIC Wuzhen Summit (scheduled for early November), speak at the youth forum, and engage in in-depth exchanges with high-level representatives of international organizations, governments, and leading internet enterprises, as well as well-known experts and scholars.

They will have the opportunity to participate in study and research activities organized by the WIC. They can also apply for round-trip air tickets and free accommodation provided by the organizers of the Wuzhen Summit during the event.

It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
