The World Internet Conference (WIC) Digital Silk Road Development Forum will be held on April 16 in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, with the theme "Connectivity and Shared Prosperity".
The forum, organized by the WIC and co-organized by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, will focus on three topics: "Digital Connectivity and Cooperation in Building the Silk Road", "Silk Road E-commerce International Cooperation", and "Digital Villages and Sustainable Development".
It will invite representatives from international organizations and government departments, and heads of globally renowned internet companies for extensive exchanges and discussions, aiming to promote the spirit of the Silk Road characterized by peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and benefit, and to build a digital Silk Road for international economic cooperation.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
