The World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Cross-Border E-Commerce Training is set to be held in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, from April 16 to 18.
Senior officials from trade and economic departments and representatives from cross-border e-commerce enterprises of 27 countries have registered. A limited number of spots for the training program are now open for applications.
Participants will be invited to attend the Digital Silk Road Development Forum and gain comprehensive knowledge of global cross-border e-commerce trends and international regulatory systems. They will also have the opportunity to visit cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, network with senior government representatives from Belt and Road countries, and receive priority invitations to high-end forums organized by the World Internet Conference.
The program will feature an expert team of lecturers from the United Nations International Trade Centre, the UN Network of Experts for Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific, the Electronic World Trade Platform, cross-border e-commerce pilot zones, universities, and leading cross-border e-commerce companies.
The program will include courses on global opportunities and challenges in cross-border e-commerce, international trade rules, trade facilitation, practice case studies, and field research on cross-border e-commerce demonstration zones.
Applicants should be from institutions or enterprises with sound operations, and their organizations should closely follow trends in the internet and cross-border e-commerce sectors. They should either be planning or currently engaging in cross-border e-commerce activities, with substantial experience in the internet industry and a strong passion and interest in the development of cross-border e-commerce.
