Introduction:

The Covid-19 pandemic has prompted the acceleration of the global digital transformation and the emergence of many new changes in global cyberspace governance. How to coordinate security and development in global digitalization has become a common problem worldwide. Renowned experts and scholars in the field of global cyberspace governance, representatives from important international organizations, and major Internet companies will carry out in-depth discussions on such important topics as the theory and practice of sovereignty in cyberspace, cross-border data flow and international cooperation, and will address the new issues and challenges of international governance in cyberspace in the post-pandemic era.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
