The automotive high and low voltage wiring harness North China production base invested in by Tianjin Huguang Auto Harness Co, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kunshan Huguang Auto Electric, recently commenced operation.
Located in the Xiqing Economic Development Area, a total of 300 million yuan ($42.2 million) was put into funding the construction of the base.
Kunshan Huaguang Auto Harness, established in 1997, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of automotive high and low voltage wire harnesses. The company has factories in Tianjin, Chongqing, Ningbo, and engineering centers in Kunshan, Jiangsu, Anting, Shanghai, and German.

Huaguang's main customers include Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford and Land Rover. The company has been repeatedly recognized as an A-level excellent supplier by Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Chery and JAC Group.
The production base in Tianjin's Xiqing district demonstrates the company's full confidence in the region's development.
Now operational, the project will further enhance Huaguang's leading advantage in the field of automotive high and low voltage wire harnesses and improve its strategic layout in the northern region.
