During the National Day holiday, Xiqing received 728,200 tourists, and saw a comprehensive income of 91.67 million yuan (about $12.88 million). The reception peak occurred on October 5, hitting 127,500 visitors. The cultural tourism market in the region is stable and orderly.
During the holiday, the rural scenic spots of Jizhou attracted numerous people from other areas. Rural tourism spots like Shuigao manor gave tourists the chance to experience their beautiful ecological environments, interact closely with wild animals, and experience rural farming activities, such as bamboo rafting, fruit picking, fishing, and rice planting. The 1-day fruit-picking tour in beautiful villages of Xiqing district was selected as part of the national rural tourism boutique routes.
Outdoor camping continues to heat up. Campsites, such as Shuigaozhuang, now provide more personalized choices for citizens to celebrate the festival, integrating culture, commerce, sports and tourism.
