The Wuqing Library covers a total construction area of 24,000 square meters. It is located on the east side of the Cultural Park, offering a beautiful environment. The library houses nearly 900,000 volumes, including special collections such as ancient books, local literature, Braille books, and a parent-child library. It provides readers with free borrowing services, comprehensive network coverage, and 24-hour self-service book borrowing and returning. The library serves approximately 1 million readers annually.
It has also implemented the Tianjin Public Library System's interlibrary loan and return service, enabling resource and service sharing across the city's public library system. The library has established 29 branch libraries and 210 grassroots service points throughout the district, creating a comprehensive network of public cultural services. With a focus on service distinctiveness and quality, the library has established well-known brand services such as the "Luhe Lecture Hall" public lecture series, attracting 200,000 readers to participate in various activities each year. The library has achieved significant social benefits and was recognized as a first-class library by the Ministry of Culture in 2017.
