Five science and technology projects from Jinghai district have been approved by the Tianjin municipal science and technology authorities, underscoring steady progress in strengthening corporate research and development capacity.
The approved projects fall under district-level programs that support enterprise R&D capability building and major initiatives in biomedicine. The selected applicants include Tianjin NTS Flourish, Tianjin Ranova Pet Food, Giant (Tianjin), J Long (Tianjin) Abrasive, and TianJin HeSheng Biotechnology. Together, the projects highlight solid in house innovation capacity and sustained investment in applied research across local enterprises.
Since the beginning of this year, the district bureau has been advancing an innovation driven development strategy by encouraging higher R&D spending and providing targeted guidance throughout the application process. To date, 9 projects across the district have received approval, doubling the 2024 number.
Yue Xin, deputy head of the district bureau, said the results reflect proactive service delivery and precise policy guidance, as well as the long term commitment of local firms to their core businesses, technological depth, and continuous innovation.
Looking ahead, the district bureau will continue to provide end to end support for approved projects in order to ensure timely implementation and measurable outcomes.
