The most advanced ultra-deepwater dual-rig semi-submersible drilling platform "Bluewhale 1" was delivered on Feb 13, 2017. The platform, capable of natural gas hydrate mining, was independently designed and constructed by CIMC, and jointly operated by the Tianjin TEDA Bluewhale Offshore Engineering Technology Co and the China National Petroleum Offshore Engineering Co.

A "zero energy consumption" cabin has been put into use in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city. The hut covers 135 square meters and has 60 photovoltaic panels on its roof. Under good lighting conditions, it can generate 60 degrees of electricity per day, realizing self-sufficiency. The hut has become a showpiece of green energy nationwide.

In Yangjiabo town, Binhai New Area, you will find wind turbines by green rice fields. The turbines are 100 meters tall and have three 60-meter-long blades. There are also automatic elevators and wind equipment installed in the body of each turbine. After the clean raw salt is picked up and loaded into the car, it is sent to the machine pump. Once being sprayed and washed, it is transferred to the beach to form lumps on a conveyor belt.
