Xiamen advances provincial key projects' construction from January to August
Xiamen has 130 provincial key projects, with an annual planned investment of 820.7 billion yuan ($114.4 billion). From January to August, an investment of 686.8 billion yuan was completed, fulfilling 83.7 percent of the annual planned investment.
This exceeded the sequenced schedule by 17 percentage points. The investment completion rate ranks among the highest in the province.
The construction of industrial projects has advanced efficiently, with an actual paid-in investment of 282.2 billion yuan completed from January to August, fulfilling 83.7 percent of the annual planned investment. Among these projects, Xiamen Pacific Care Home is in the final stage of construction and has begun the completion inspection process.

The construction of infrastructure projects has , with an actual investment of 38.76 billion yuan from January to August, has been accelerated and achieved 87.3 percent of the annual planned investment.
Among them, the decoration and landscape engineering of Jimei Cailin relocation houses in Maluan Bay new city, has been basically completed and is expected togo through the final examination in September.

The social service projects received actual investments totaling 1.7 billion yuan from January to August, signifying the completion of 78.8 percent of the year's planned investments.
Among these, the Jimei branch of Xiamen women and children health hospital project is set to be substantially completed by the end of this year and is slated for use in the first half of next year.
