Promoting the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is a major national strategy bearing on the overall national development. As state organs for legal supervision and judicial organs ensuring the unified and correct enforcement of state laws, procuratorates shoulder an important responsibility of providing rule-of-law safeguards for the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) recently released a white paper summarizing procuratorial work carried out in this region throughout the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025).
