The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) recently released an array of typical cases on promoting the interlinking work mechanism that helps transform political suggestions and proposals into clues for procuratorial public interest litigation work.
The cases focus on major suggestions supervised by the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee and major proposals supervised by the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, which have been transformed through the interlinking mechanism into clues for public interest litigation cases for procuratorial organs.
The typical cases include nine administrative public interest litigation cases with pre-litigation procedures and one administrative public interest litigation prosecution case, covering fields such as ecological environment and resource protection, food and drug safety, and production safety.
Among the cases, the serial administrative public interest litigation cases of procuratorial organs of Qinghai province urging remedies for damages to wild animals in the Sanjiangyuan area have been selected as one of the Top 10 Environmental Judicial Cases in China.
