The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) recently issued a notice on coordinately promoting the tapping of the legal supervision document system to safeguard the rights and interests of workers.
The above-mentioned document system is a combination of reminding, opinion and suggestion documents of labor-related legal supervision issued by trade unions and human resources and social security authorities. The notice aims to prevent and resolve labor-related disputes and swiftly correct violations of the labor law, especially those of extensive social concern such as wage arrears and the illegal arrangement of overtime work, in a bid to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
