Ying, also China's chief grand prosecutor, emphasized the longstanding friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Peru.
He said that with the high-level development of China-Peru relations, exchanges between the two countries' procuratorial organs have become increasingly close, expressing his gratitude for the long-standing efforts of the Peruvian Embassy in China in promoting friendly exchanges between the prosecution organs of both countries.
Ying introduced the basic situation of China's procuratorial organs, highlighting their role in fulfilling prosecutorial functions in accordance with the law and safeguarding national security and social stability. He also expressed Chinese procuratorial organs' determination to modernize their work in order to contribute to China's overall modernization efforts.
Ying expressed that China's procuratorial organs value their cooperation with Peru's counterparts and are committed to closely working together in international criminal justice assistance and in combating transnational crime.
Balarezo said that Peru's procuratorial organs, like their Chinese counterparts, bear the important responsibility of combating crime and safeguarding national interests. The Peruvian Embassy in China is committed to enhancing cooperation between the prosecution offices in criminal justice coordination, combating transnational crime, and providing judicial support for both countries' development.
The Embassy of Peru in China is committed to help promoting criminal justice cooperation between the two countries' procuratorial organs, especially in combating transnational crime, to provide strong judicial guarantees for the economic and social development of both nations, he said.
