Ying, also China's chief grand prosecutor, warmly welcomed the ambassador and emphasized the longstanding friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Venezuela, saying that the relationship between the two countries has remained solid, with deep bonds between the people. Through the strategic guidance and promotion of their top leaders, the two countries have enhanced political mutual trust and achieved fruitful results in practical cooperation, benefiting both nations and their people.
Ying introduced the basic situation of China's procuratorial organs, highlighting their role in fulfilling prosecutorial functions in accordance with the law and safeguarding national security, social stability, and the well-being of the people. The Chinese government has attached great importance to the construction of procuratorial organs and legal supervision, according to Ying, adding that policies and initiatives have been implemented to strengthen legal supervision. China's procuratorial organs will follow the leadership of the Communist Party of China and provide high-quality and efficient legal supervision services for social and economic development.
The top procuratorates of the two countries have always maintained close communication and cooperation, which has provided strong judicial guarantees for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, Ying said, adding that China's SPP is ready to work with its Venezuelan counterpart to fully implement the consensus reached between the two heads of state, deepen pragmatic cooperation in criminal justice, prosecutor training, and digital service, and strive to help the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Venezuela achieve new developments and bring greater benefits to both countries and peoples.
Yoffreda expressed gratitude for Ying's warm reception and raised hope for more bilateral cooperation and economic and trade exchanges with China, as well as more exchanges between the two countries' procuratorial authorities in criminal matters, combating crime together, and providing judicial guarantees for the development of both countries.
