Taiyuan city's 20th patient infected by the novel coronavirus pneumonia was pronounced cured and was discharged from hospital on March 1, according to hospital officials. 

After 17 days of treatment in the Fourth People's Hospital of Taiyuan, the 77-year-old man was in good condition with a body temperature back to normal for over three days, while his respiratory pathogenic nucleic acid and whole blood nucleic acid tested negative, officials added. 

They said that as of now, all confirmed cases of the virus in Taiyuan have been cured and discharged from hospital. 

In addition, there are currently no suspected infections in the city.
