With deepening studies of Jin merchants and related cultures, more and more Jin merchants have become widely known around the world, such as Qiao Zhiyong (pic 10-1), the owner of the renowned Qiao's Mansion; Lei Lyutai (pic 10-2), the founder of China's money-transfer business; Qu Benqiao (pic 10-3), renowned merchant in Qixian; and Puzhou businessman Fan Zhikui.

In modern China, the Jin merchants active in China's economic stage include Kong Xiangxi, Li Yanhong and Terry Kuo.
