Hunyuan county in Datong recently signed an agreement with Shandong Hanshu Agricultural Development Group Co to develop a modern protected agricultural facility in Xiahancun township.

The project will be implemented in three phases. The first phase will cover approximately 300 mu (20 hectares) with an investment of around 51 million yuan ($7.23 million). The phase will focus on constructing prefabricated soil-filled solar greenhouses, quilted arch shelters, seedling film-connected greenhouses, and related infrastructure.

The second phase will expand by over 200 mu, with an investment of about 49 million yuan, concentrating on the development of quilted high-temperature greenhouses and connected greenhouses.

The third phase will further extend the project over 500 mu, with an investment of approximately 50 million yuan, continuing the expansion of quilted high-temperature greenhouses and connected greenhouses.
