Cities across Shanxi province have introduced innovative policies and new consumer scenarios this year to optimize consumer supply and unlock spending potential, providing robust momentum for economic growth.

In Xinzhou, the focus has been on encouraging consumer goods trade-ins as a key strategy to stabilize growth and facilitate transformation. Through policy support and scenario empowerment, Xinzhou has distributed subsidies totaling 96.36 million yuan ($14.34 million), directly boosting consumption by over 840 million yuan.

Jincheng has concentrated on sectors such as clothing, daily retail, dining, and accommodation, launching unique promotional activities. By adding cultural performances and interactive experiences, it has formed an integrated consumption area, which continuously bolsters market confidence.

Yuncheng has developed its commercial ecosystem by addressing essential community needs such as convenient morning markets and repair services. The city is also advancing the pilot construction of a "15-minute convenient living circle", ensuring each neighborhood has supermarkets, vegetable markets, and dining establishments. 

To stimulate county-level consumption, Changzhi has implemented a county business development initiative. By enhancing infrastructure, nurturing market entities, and promoting brand development, the city has established a commercial system spanning counties, towns, and villages, creating a unique local county business development model.
