A delegation from Shanxi province is engaging in multi-sectoral cooperation with Russian partners to deepen economic, trade, and technological exchanges at the 10th China-Russia Expo, which is taking place in Harbin from May 17 to 21.

Key enterprises from Shanxi are participating in thematic forums, business negotiations, enterprise matchmaking, and cultural exhibitions, facilitating efficient connections in technological innovation, trade, and cultural heritage.

Shanxi Davi Laser Technology Co attended the 10th China-Russia New Technology Development and Application Cooperation Talent Roundtable, engaging in discussions with Russian research institutions and industry enterprises on technological innovation, result transformation, and talent cultivation, and seeking collaboration in the laser technology sector.

Li Guorong, deputy director of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, held a working meeting with Aleksey Dakhnovskiy, commercial representative of the Russian Embassy in China, at the Shanxi Pavilion, where they exchanged views on deepening Shanxi-Russia economic and trade cooperation, expanding bilateral trade volumes, and optimizing the trade cooperation environment. A consensus was reached on enhancing trade negotiations, promoting industrial connections, and facilitating trade channels.

The Shanxi delegation has maximized the expo's role as a bridge to foster more cooperation intentions with Russia in technology, new energy, agriculture, and culture, elevating Shanxi's opening-up and injecting new momentum into the province's high-quality development.
