Lingchuan county in Shanxi province has launched its Winter Ice and Snow Tourism Season, along with the "Celebrating New Year on Taihang Mountains" series of activities. 

Focusing on the integration of "sightseeing + experience + consumption + wellness", the aim is to create a new cultural tourism scenario that caters to all ages around the clock and supports comprehensive consumption.

The event also introduces six premium winter tourism routes, six themed travel packages, and numerous unique activities. The six premium routes cover skiing competitions, family interactions, natural landscapes, folk experiences, and exploration of ancient architecture, while the themed packages center on Lingchuan homestays to offer a diverse range of tourism products, allowing visitors to enjoy a "one-stop tourism experience".

To appeal to young groups, the county will host unique events such as the Taihang Snowfield Electronic Music Festival, music concerts, drone shows, and a gourmet market.

The county plans to issue 5 million yuan ($716,700) in ice and snow tourism vouchers, introduce over 100 authentic local delicacies, and open dozens of "Lingchuan Gifts" flagship stores. Events such as skiing contests and winter camps will also be held to further stimulate the winter tourism market.
