The 9th Joint Meeting of the Inner Mongolia-Shanxi-Hebei Great Wall Golden Triangle Cooperation Zone and the Reform, Innovation, and Industrial Cooperation Conference were held on Nov 18 in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province.

Leaders, experts, scholars, and business representatives from Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, and Hebei gathered to discuss regional development strategies and industrial cooperation.

Since the establishment of the Inner Mongolia-Shanxi-Hebei Great Wall Golden Triangle Cooperation Zone, the cities of Ulaanqab, Datong, and Zhangjiakou have seized strategic opportunities for coordinated development in economy and trade, transportation, cultural tourism, and environmental protection.

Over the past 11 years, the three cities have signed 56 cooperation agreements and launched three rounds of regional cooperation. They have achieved significant results in energy, digital economy, cultural tourism, special agriculture, infrastructure connectivity, and environmental governance.

At this ninth meeting, which focused on investment promotion, officials from the three cities presented investment opportunities based on local industrial advantages and resources.

Discussions were held on sports, culture, tourism, ice and snow industries, data industry, renewable energy, modern manufacturing, green agriculture, and animal husbandry.

This meeting aimed to explore cooperation opportunities and promote coordinated development among enterprises, business associations, and research institutions from Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, and Shanxi.
