The Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shanxi Province recently invited a Latin America China International Chamber of Commerce delegation to visit North China's Shanxi province for exchanges and cooperation. The visit aims to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Shanxi and Latin American countries and promote stable growth in foreign trade.

The delegation visited provincial and municipal-level representative enterprises such as Guangshengyuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Co, Yingxian Shengfu Porcelain Industry Co, Shanxi Dongjin Fertilizer Industry Co, and Huayuan International Landport Group Co. They toured production workshops and product showrooms, gaining insights into production scale, market operations, and technological innovation.

Discussions with company representatives on potential import and export cooperation in the agriculture, mining, healthcare, wine, freight, metallurgy, and machinery sectors resulted in multiple cooperation intentions.

The delegation, comprising government officials, business representatives, and senior experts from Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, also engaged in discussions with the Shanxi Intellectual Property Protection Center and Datong City Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. They signed three framework cooperation agreements and visited cultural sites such as the Yungang Grottoes and Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, experiencing the unique charm of Shanxi's ancient architecture.
