He Han, chairman of Shanxi Data Flow Eco Park Operation and Management Co, expressed on Feb 25 that focusing on the digital economy is a key aspect of his duty as a national political adviser. 

This focus aligns with his professional expertise and is supported by extensive research information. 

Over the last three years, the Shanxi Data Flow Eco Park, the country's first data-driven digital economic zone, has achieved remarkable results. Its data transaction exceeded 42 billion yuan ($583.59 million), driving the cumulative revenue of enterprises within the park to over 33.4 billion yuan. Furthermore, it has attracted more than 740 digital economy enterprises, creating job opportunities for over 10,000 college graduates. 

During annual sessions of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee in 2023, He Han submitted a proposal to expedite the digital transformation of industries in Central and Western China. This suggestion has been adopted and handled by the National Development and Reform Commission. 

During this year's upcoming two sessions, He plans to submit a proposal promoting interconnection among data trading institutions. It will facilitate the development of multi-level data element markets, encourage the construction of computing power integrated service platforms, and enhance the user-friendliness of computing power accessibility.
