The first bonded store for imported goods transported by China Railway Express freight trains in North China's Shanxi opened in the provincial capital of Taiyuan on April 28. 

The 300-square-meter store in Taiyuan South Railway Station sells goods mainly from Russia, Georgia, Belgium, Italy and other countries and regions where China Railway Express trains pass through. 

More than 1,000 kinds of commodities in 12 categories, including cosmetics, maternal and baby products, candies, and wine, are for sale. 

Yang Qian, manager of the station business branch of Taiyuan Railway Xinchuang Catering and Tourism Group Co, said that the bonded store introduces overseas specialties which feature authenticity and fair market prices. 

Consumers who purchase goods from the shop can scan the QR code on the goods to confirm their authenticity.
