The Sanggan River Wetland Park in Shanyin county of North China's Shanxi province made a list of 26 national wetland parks announced by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration.

Located in the south of the county, the wetland park has a planned area of 859.32 hectares, 64.08 percent of which is wetland area. 

In recent years, Shanyin county has been focusing heavily on the ecological development of the Sanggan River through the ecological restoration project of the Sanggan River wetland. The wetland park is home to water bodies, river beaches, meadows, shrubs, woodlands and arable land.
