Shanxi optimizes business environment for foreign trade
Taiyuan Customs, provincial customs authority of North China's Shanxi province, has promoted the reform of its examination and approval system since July 1 to further optimize the local business environment and reduce the burden on foreign trade companies.
Taiyuan Customs has canceled the "Inspection License for Import and Export Commodity Inspection and Appraisal Business" within its jurisdiction and now implements catalog management of trusted inspection and testing agencies in accordance with the relevant regulations and requirements of the General Administration of Customs.
Its major measures to optimize examination and approval procedures include canceling documents that are not required for customs supervision and reducing time limits for administrative approval.
The processing time for customs brokers has been shortened from 10 working days to just 10 minutes, while the filing of customs brokers is handled online throughout the whole process.
