Shanxi Normal University, based in Linfen city, North China's Shanxi province, and Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies Co signed an agreement for further cooperation on April 15. 

The two sides will cooperate in scientific research and innovation, talent training and smart campuses and conduct in-depth development of the big data, artificial intelligence and software engineering sectors.

Yang Jun, president of Shanxi Normal University, stated at the signing ceremony that the university will absorb and use Huawei's advanced concepts and technologies, improve the university's operating level and boost its talent-training quality. It will also cultivate more elite talents that meet the needs of society and the times.
