More than 1,000 selected products -- by 23 companies based in Xinzhou city in northern Shanxi province -- hit the 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, on Dec 5-10.

The exhibits at the Xinzhou Pavilion involved more than 20 categories in such areas as arts and crafts, traditional techniques and the performing arts. 

By Dec 6, 16 key cultural industry projects from Xinzhou had been signed, with a total investment of about 13.19 billion yuan ($1.87 billion).
