Datong city fully demonstrated its recent developments in the cultural sector at the 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair held in Taiyuan in Shanxi province, on Dec 5-10, according to the organizers. 

The city's pavilion featured high-tech demonstrations that included virtual reality and 3D printing. 

It chose blue as the background color to show the great natural environment of the city, officials said. 

More than 30 Datong companies and institutes attended the fair.

They displayed over 500 items including pictures, videos -- as well as items related to traditional handicrafts, culture, tourism, cultural and technological integration -- which showed the rich diversity of cultural development in Datong.
