Jincheng city in the southeast of Shanxi province is showcasing its landmarks and cultural features at the ongoing 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair, in Taiyuan, capital city of Shanxi province.

The Jincheng Pavilion consists of four areas themed around media integration, ironware, ancient castles and craftsmanship. 

Officials said the exhibition area for media integration, focusing on Jincheng News Media Group, comprehensively displays the results of the integrated development of media in the local urban area and counties. 

The Jincheng ironware display area, highlighting Jincheng iron pots, aims to develop Jincheng iron pots into regional cultural product brands and raise the profile of the iron pots through promotions and demonstrations at the cultural industries fair. 

The exhibition area for ancient castles features fortifications in Qinshui and Yangcheng counties in Jincheng city. It exhibits the cultural and tourist charm of ancient castles and fortresses in the Taihang Mountains, through displays and cultural performances to attract more visitors to the ancient sites. 

The organizers said that arts and crafts, as well as cultural creative products, are on display at an exhibition area that embodies craftsmanship. Promotions by companies and media agencies in Jincheng city have been organized to increase the sales of Jincheng cultural creative products at the fair.

In addition, 16 companies from Jincheng city have demonstrated around 1,000 products in about 30 categories at the fair.
