Jinzhong shows off rich culture at Shanxi cultural industries fair

Jinzhong city in central Shanxi province has decorated its special pavilion splendidly with products, graphics and video displays at the 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair which opened in Taiyuan in Shanxi province, on Dec 5.
Covering 300 square meters, the design of the Jinzhong Pavilion integrates the history, landscapes, folk customs and civil spirits and culture during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45).
It has five exhibition sections displaying the many development achievements of the city's cultural industry.
Among these sections, the cultural creative section gathers cultural creative products from Jinzhong city.
The specialty section focuses on the characteristic local cultural products and handicrafts.
The cultural and tourism integration section brings together representative depictions of the integrated development of its culture and tourism, as well as promoting cultural tour routes and typical scenic spots.
The literary and fine arts section displays selected works from Jinzhong city's literary and artistic fine arts world in recent years. The project and industrial park section displays key cultural enterprises, projects and industrial parks to promote investment.
During the cultural industries fair, performances featuring local traditional crafts and customs have also been staged, allowing audiences to experience the unique historical and cultural charm of Jinzhong.
A total of 43 companies based in Jinzhong have exhibited more than 3,000 products at the six-day fair. The city has also selected 17 projects for a total investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion).
