The recent cultural exchange event between the city of Zibo in Shandong province, East China, and Veliky Novgorod in Russia marked a celebration of a friendship that has thrived for over three decades.
More than 50 youths from both cities took part in various activities that were a part of the exchange. These activities, including tea art, calligraphy exhibitions, and cultural lectures, not only strengthened bonds among the youths but also deepened cultural understanding.

The event also showcased the fruitful collaborations between the two cities and helped enhance relations between the two sides in economic, trade, and cultural matters. Both sides acknowledged the importance of their cooperation in fostering mutual development and strengthening Sino-Russian relations.
Officials from Zibo and Veliky Novgorod then pledged to continued exchanges and contribute to the fostering of stronger relations between China and Russia.
