Zhoucun district in Zibo city, Shandong province, is seizing opportunities in the global home furnishing industry through activities like international exhibitions and cultural exchanges.
Zhoucun is widely regarded as the birthplace of Shandong merchants and its favorable location, historical background, and abundant resources make it an ideal hub for the home furnishing industry.
Leveraging the Belt and Road Initiative's 10th anniversary this year, Zhoucun's home furnishing industry has tapped into international trade channels to drive growth and expand foreign trade.
Since the second quarter, more than 10 companies, including Shandong Hengli Textile Technology Co Ltd and Hengfu Smart Home Co Ltd, have ventured into countries like France, Australia, Canada, and Germany. They've also taken part in major international exhibitions, forging partnerships with overseas clients and pursuing new orders to expand their global presence.
