Robotic arms that can prepare coffee were among the highlights of the World Internet Conference Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization that was held in Qufu, Jining, Shandong province from June 25-27.
Developed by AUBO (Shandong) Robotics Technology Co Ltd, the intelligent coffee robots even earned praise from some conference participants.

The robots can make a cup of coffee, complete with latte art, in just 75 seconds.
"We have conducted precise tests, and the coffee robots can work continuously for 20,000 hours with a repeat positioning accuracy of up to ±0.02 millimeters. They are highly stable and can eliminate any taste variations that may occur due to fatigue or human error," said Shi Xiujun, the deputy general manager of AUBO Robotics.
He added that the robotic arms are powered by intelligent management systems that will notify personnel when ingredients are running out.
