The second session of the 15th Zibo Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, kicked off on Dec 27 – in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province – and will run to Dec 30.
The third session of the 16th People's Congress of Zibo will also kick off on recent days in the Zhangdian district of the city.
Members of the CPPCC have presented proposals in a number of areas – including those directly relevant to people's everyday lives and social development – such as infant care services and training people in ceramics-making skills.
