Two exquisite color-glazed artworks from the Boshan district of Zibo city – in East China's Shandong province – are currently are display in the 2022 Glass Language International Contemporary Glass Art Exhibition.
The international contemporary glass art exhibition is being held at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing and runs to Nov 20.
The two artworks from Boshan, created by Liu Chijun and Bi Yuzhuang, were selected from over 1,000 pieces created by hundreds of glass artists from all over the world.

Liu's work is an elegant glass art ornament made in the European style. With superb craftsmanship, it has adopted a wide variety of techniques for pure hand heat molding and was chosen for its fine production, regular shape and elegant appearance.

Bi's piece is a large and graceful, symbolizing a complete life and is representative of glazed thermoplastic work. It is said to be a rare glazed arts and crafts example, which is very difficult to make and requires high cooperation among technicians.
