A series of self-developed home textiles, silk scarves and clothing products from Zibo city – in East China's Shandong province – has attracted widespread attention from domestic and foreign businessmen attending the fifth China International Import Expo or CIIE, currently being held in Shanghai.

Zibo Daranfang Silk Group, for example, has attracted widespread attention with its products that incorporate Chinese traditional style and culture and there are merchants on the spot every day to customize different specifications for clothing, home textiles and other products.

"Silk embodies the wisdom and diligence of our nation. We're committed to inheriting and developing the traditional silk industry and to introduce the most beautiful products to the world," said Zhang Xiaoguang, general manager of the Zibo Daranfang Silk Group.
Other time-honored brands from Zibo are also taking advantages of the powerful CIIE platform to display their products, promote their brands and find more business partners.
