Yuanxing Electronics Co Ltd, founded in March 1999 in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province, is an industry leader providing customers worldwide with reliable current and voltage conversion and isolation solutions. The main products are current transformers and voltage transformers, sensors and transducers, which are used in a host of fields such as electrical power, energy, telecommunications, railways and in industrial controls.
With a registered capital of 50 million yuan ($7.47 million), the company currently has more than 500 employees. Headquartered in the Zibo Science and Technology Industrial Park, it has set up two branches in Dezhou and Linyi cities, also in Shandong province.
Yuanxing Electronics obtained ISO9001/2000 Quality Management certification in 2002, as well as ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management certification and ISO45001:2018 Occupation Health Safety Management System certification in 2019. It is one of main initiators and a proposed unit for the national industry standard JBT10635-2006 – the general specification for current and voltage transducers with small power. The transient characteristics for a protective current transformer are listed as a national innovation fund program for small and medium enterprises by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The company has obtained 17 certificates for the Utility Model Patent, seven software copyrights and two patents for invention. The company's power internet of things intelligent sensor equipment technology renovation project was listed as a key municipal technical renovation project in 2020. Its main products have acquired safety test certification of Underwriter Laboratories Inc. (UL), Conformite Europeenne (CE) Certification and ETL Laboratory Safety certification. The company has set up a North American sales office in Tacoma, Washington state and the export of products has accounted for 30 percent of the company's annual revenue. Yuanxing has become an important supplier of sensors and transducers for power system automation companies such as Guodian Nanjing Automation Co Ltd and NR Electric Co Ltd – and for world industrial electrical giants such as Siemens and Schneider.
Since its establishment, Yuanxing has won many awards, including being placed in the top 50 innovative high-growth enterprises in Zibo city and in the top 20 innovative high-growth enterprises in Zhangdian district.
