Now is the time to take a walk and admire the leaf-covered streets. To offer more picturesque autumn views, Zibo in East China's Shandong province has decided to let fallen leaves remain on the ground at 48 urban sites and roads.
The municipal sanitation department will take measures to postpone clearing fallen leaves on roads. Measures will include clearing pedestrian areas once a week and reducing the clearing frequency of roadway areas while cleaning up plastic bags, cigarette butts and other waste promptly to ensure the city can operate normally.
