The cartoon - as an appealing visual form of expression that integrates humor, satire and aesthetic education - has reportedly won over the people of Zibo, not just the young folks.
Plans are for the three-day event to evolve as an opportunity for local artists to create more outstanding works to contribute to the prosperity and development of the cartoon art form in the city.
The Zibo Municipal Culture Center is said to be working on hooking up with interested municipal departments and various associations to launch more activities to enrich local people's cultural lives.
