With the construction of tennis courts, basketball courts, football fields, amusement facilities, jogging paths and rock-climbing facilities, the new Zibo High-tech District Cultural and Sports Park – in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province – was recently completed and will soon be open to the public.
Covering an area of about 11.73 hectares, the Zibo High-tech District Cultural and Sports Park is located north of Zhengtong Road, south of Wanjie Road, west of Jinjing Avenue and east of the Zibo Century Talents Foreign Languages School.
With a total investment of 320 million yuan ($49.47 million), the park is expected to meet the exercise and recreational needs of locals and boost the district's urban infrastructure, becoming a new landmark for the city as well.
Moving forwards, Zibo plans to make further efforts in improving its urban and rural environment, to make the city a much better place for all its residents to live.
