The second Zibo-Tsingtao Beer Festival in Zibo, Shandong province started on July 23 and was soon attracting an average of 30,000 participants per day.
Participants tasted plenty of delicacies, but the big attraction was Tsingtao beer and the wide varieties of worldwide beer brands. Beer enjoyment though was supplemented by music performances, drinking competitions, cultural exhibitions, game competitions and themed markets.
The Zibo-Tsingtao Beer Festival has become a strong power that boosts the city's nighttime economy and attracts more visitors to Zibo, a city with profound history and a brilliant cultural background.
Due to the heavy rainfall from typhoon In-Fa and the epidemic prevention and control requirements, the festival’s events were suspended from July 28 to ensure visitors' safety. Zibo city and the Zibo-Tsingtao Beer Festival hope to see all locals and other revelers next year.
