The Green Prevention and Treatment Center for Cancer (Shandong) of Zibo Hospital of Integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine project was launched on July 24, on the same day the 10th New Technology Forum on Green Medicine for Cancer was held.
Zibo's Deputy Mayor Bi Weihong was present at the launch ceremony. Bi pointed out that Zibo has built a sound public health system and promoted balanced development in health services in recent years. And the launch of the Green Prevention and Treatment Center for Cancer (Shandong) project marks a new beginning to comprehensively improve the regional cancer prevention and treatment level in the Zibo area.
The Green Prevention and Treatment Center for Cancer (Shandong) of Zibo Hospital of Integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine project, with a total investment of 120 million yuan ($18.57 million) and a 200-bed construction plan, will focus on green prevention, treatment and nursing and promote specialized development of interventional treatment, rehabilitation, disease prevention, and pain treatment.
