With typhoon In-Fa approaching southeastern China, Zibo authorities issued a blue gale alert, the lowest level in the four-color warning system, on July 27.
It is predicted that the typhoon will make landfall in southern region of Shandong province around July 29 and it will enter Bohai Sea through the province's Binzhou and Dongying area on July 30.
Afftected by the typhoon, Zibo area will see heavy rainfalls from July 27 to 30 with an average accumulated rainfall of 100-150 millimeters and up to over 250 millimeters in some areas.
Local authorities warned people to take precautions as the city will experience a level-7 wind, while the wind will be stronger at level 8.
